Cancellation Terms
You are booking an activity with specific time slots and limited availability. Your booking may prevent others from reserving that time and is therefore subject to a recognised cancellation policy for sporting activity bookings, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
These regulations make clear that bookings for leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific time period are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period. As such, once your booking is confirmed, your right to cancel without penalty ends.
- Cancellations made more than 31 days prior to your booking date will be refunded minus a £1.50 processing fee per booking.
- No refund is available for cancellations made within 31 days of the booked date.
The £1.50 processing fee covers non-refundable charges incurred per booking:
- Card processing fees
- Booking platform commission
- Refund handling fees
- Administrative time
We will always do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests —please refer to our rescheduling policy below for details.
You are welcome to resell or gift your tickets to someone else, provided they meet the minimum requirements to participate. However, disclaimers are not transferable, and a new form must be completed.
The effective cancellation date is when we acknowledge your written request in writing. The 31-day cancellation period includes weekends and bank holidays. Any request to reduce participant numbers must also be made and acknowledged in writing and is subject to the same cancellation rules. Verbal cancellations or changes are not accepted under any circumstances.

Force Majeure, Major Incident or Forced Closure
If we are required to cancel a session due to severe weather, safety concerns, or any unforeseen operational issues, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
No refunds will be issued on the day if a participant chooses not to slide.
Rescheduling Policy
You may request to reschedule your booking up to 14 days prior to your booked session.
We will only accommodate requests if:
- Sufficient notice is given, and
- There is space available on an alternative session
Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to info@megaslipandslide.com and cannot be made or accepted verbally. If we are unable to find a suitable alternative date and time, a refund will not be issued.
We are unable to accept or make rescheduling requests verbally and all requests must be submitted in writing to: info@megaslipandslide.com. We are unable to offer a refund if no suitable space is found.
You are welcome to resell or gift your tickets to another person provided they meet the participation requirements. Disclaimers are not transferable and a new one will be required. Please note: neither Mega Slip and Slide, Eola, our employees, nor affiliates are permitted to broker or facilitate the resale of tickets.
Private Booking Deposit Refund
When a deposit is taken for a private booking, we reserve specific time slots exclusively for your group.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the balance must be paid one calendar month before the booking date. If payment is not received on time (without prior explanation), your booking may be treated as cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
If the balance has already been paid and the booking is cancelled, a refund will be issued minus the retained deposit. Lost deposits are not transferable to new bookings.
